Childhood deserves to be protected and celebrated. Our children learn unhurried and in tune with their true nature — moving, creating, observing, working with their hands — and we don't interrupt them while they're in their flow. It looks like play. It's the beginning of the next musician writing music we haven't heard yet, or the innovative mind that brings the world its next great idea. Nature, movement and creativity matter most while their minds are still wide open.
The guilds carry ancient traditions — growing food, working wood and metal, cooking, healing, reading the land — taught by the people who still practice them for a living. Skills that connect: anatomy learned from a doctor, a fire built with a SEAL, bread made with a chef. Skills that connect children to the earth, to the people around them, and to the generations that came before.
We don't replace parents — we make it possible for them to be here. Drop in on a lesson, teach a guild, eat lunch together, or just work a few steps away. Children watch their mother and father train, work, eat well and rest, all in the same day, in the same place. That's the lesson: a healthy, balanced adult is something you can actually become.

We know every child's name, and every family belongs. Children move through The Nest, a Montessori classroom, and accredited mixed-age primary bands (5–7, 7–9 and 9–12) — while their parents learn in the same guilds, in the same buildings, on the same day.
A place designed for the most tender chapter of parenthood — the newborn and infant stage, when everything feels both magical and overwhelming.
It's built for babies just discovering what their bodies can do: deep padded floors for tummy time and first crawls, low sturdy furniture to sit up against and pull up on, and open room for those first wobbling steps — with someone who loves them always within arm's reach.
And it's a lounge for you — a place to nurse in comfort, to trade encouragement with parents in the same season, and to not do this part alone. The Nest holds parents while they hold their babies.
Our Montessori-inspired approach gives children time and freedom to learn through their hands, in a joyful, unhurried environment that moves at a two-year-old's pace.
This is a season of enormous growth, and the room is built for all of it: climbing, running and real gross-motor work; sensory play that teaches small hands to sort, pour, and fasten; language blooming into full conversation; and the early social work of sharing, waiting, and learning to name big feelings. Potty training happens here too — patiently, and in step with you.
They master their ABC's and 123's through real-life application — music and movement, beautiful books, art at open easels, cooking and baking from garden to table — and spend long stretches outdoors building, stacking, sorting, and learning to observe nature with genuine curiosity. Imagination is given room to run.
In the primary grades — taught in mixed-age bands of 5–7, 7–9, and 9–12, in the great homeschool tradition of children learning together across ages — kids build on their Montessori foundation with a teacher-accredited core curriculum (ELAR, math, science, history & geography) that meets all state standards while going far beyond them. Older children mentor younger ones; placement follows readiness, not birthdays.

Afternoons belong to the guilds, taught by the people who actually do the work for a living: the SEAL, the chef, the electrician, the nurse, the founder. Every child is gifted at something, and the tragedy is measuring them all against the same tree. The guilds exist so kids can try everything and find their gifts years before anyone asks them to choose — and adults are welcome in every one of them.
If you're a partner here, the guilds are also where you teach. The gym owner takes strength. The chef takes knife skills. The practitioner takes anatomy. It's the best marketing you'll ever do, and it costs you an afternoon.
